They're here!!!

The babies arrived this afternoon! They were completely skeeved out when they got here (Elwin was hiding at the back of his kennel under a blanket) but seem to be acclimating to the flat ok. They've been very exploratory - sniffing everything out. Well, Elwin has actually been trying to burrow under anything that's not nailed down...

how exciting!
how'd they get there?

my older sister just moved back to the US after living in London for 3 years. She knew the cat would die in the quarrentine procedure so she had all the stuff done for her in America and 6 months after she moved to London she flew back here to get the cat and take her back there iwth her.

I honestly would never have been able to move without mine with me.. obsessed doesn't even begin to describe my adoration for my girls

Well hello Miss Jenny Williams! You're so funny... I got the shoes off zappos.com. They had lots of colors. The brand is Sam Edleman so if you search for that, all of them will come up. That brand has some really cool kicks!

Hey Meredith, we actually used a company called World Care Pet. They specialize in transporting people's pets. Esp. overseas. Basically, as soon as we found out we were moving over, we got them an appt. at the vet to start the whole procedure (microchipping, draw blood, etc.). It takes quite a while for everything to get done - sending their bloodwork to an EU certified lab, blah blah blah... Problem was, we found out we were moving in like August and had to leave in Oct. So, the cats stayed with my Sister-in-law and her fiance at our house back home until it was time for them to be picked up and shipped over. It's been a long wait for them to get here and it's finally starting to really feel like home now that they're with us. I sound like a cheeseball but these are my BABIES!

Hey Jenny - I looked today and saw that they don't have the green ones anymore but they have other colors. The style is called "Angelina"...
