That's caliente.

Goodbye London...

...Hola Barcelona!

First, we had some refreshment at a small local coffe shop. I hear they have a few other locations.

Then we were off to check out the amazing La Sagrada Familia

After hiking all the way up to the top of one of the towers and back down...

...And goofing off on the roof of this Gaudi buliding...

Our Rainbow-clad feets were tired

The next day, we spent the morning in the Gothic Quarter

The early afternoon fiesta-ing

The late afternoon siesta-ing

And the evening relaxing...

...eating yummy lobster paella...

...and drinking cava by the sea

Sunday we visited the Torres winery in Catalonia

Once we got back in the city we saw this African band playing

And hung out in Placa Catalunya before dinner

On our last day, we hung out at Montjuic

Click here to see the whole photo album. We're pretty proud of some of the shots we got on this trip. I can't wait to get them developed and hung up in our flat!

These pictures are fabulous. Looks like you had a great time. I love the classic Starbucks photo...a necessary stop on every trip. Ha ha. I'm glad you had fun! :)

Beth - we stayed at the Melia Barcelona. I was nice but I wouldn't recommend it honestly. It was supposedly 5-star but I would say it was more like a 4-star. They were constantly understaffed (no concierge and we had to wait a while any time we went to the front desk because the front desk staff were acting as concierges - and not terribly good ones at that - to all the guests on their bank holiday...) Our room was hot every night and we kept asking them to turn on the AC which in reality made very little difference in the temp. And the rooms were pretty small for a 5-star. I just wasn't that impressed considering what they charge...
