The way I see it

I took this photo one morning from the window of our temporary apartment.  Usually, I (and most people, I think) see construction cranes as eyesores and blights on the landscape.  For some reason, I just saw these as quiet symbols of how Raleigh is growing up.

This city struggles to keep up with the constant influx of people moving here. When you're consistently ranked as one of the best places to live in the United States, you're bound to have a booming population.  We have our growing pains as much as any other city but I'm so proud of the leaps and bounds Raleigh has made in the three short years we were away.  Everywhere we go, there's something different.
